This notice is to remind treasurers of each continuing committee (PACs) and authorized principal campaign committee of candidates who participated in the 2010 election to file the December 10th Report of Receipts and Expenditures by Friday, December 10, 2010. This report must contain receipts and expenditures through at least December 5, 2010. Paper filings of the report must be received in this Office by 5:30pm of the filing deadline. Electronic filings must be submitted by midnight of the filing date.
Be advised that principal campaign committees with surplus funds at the end of the election must appropriately disseminate the residual or unexpended funds within 6 months following the election in which the candidate was elected or defeated and formally terminate the committee by filing a termination report with this Office.
