D.C. Law 18-52, The Citizen-Service Programs Amendment Act of 2009”, was enacted by the Council of the District of Columbia on June 26, 2009, and became effective on September 23, 2009. This Legislation increased the aggregate amounts that may be contributed to and expended by the Citizen-Service Programs established by the Mayor, the Chairman and Members of the Council, and the D.C. Senator and Representatives, in any one calendar year from $40,000 to $80,000. The contribution limit for individuals has increased from $400 to $500 per calendar year. The contribution limit of $1000 per calendar year for personal property or contributions of the use of personal property to the Citizen-Service programs remains unchanged.
The Electronic Filing Modules and the downloadable form for the filing of the Report of Receipts and Expenditures for a Citizen-Service Program (OCF Form 10) have been modified to accommodate these statutory changes.
